Does anyone know the manual way to update the SIP Gateway on a CS1000E registered to System Manager? Avaya has a way to do this.

Understood that the normal way is System Manager > CS1000 > Element Manager > Nodes, Servers Media Cards > Nodes > Gateway > TLAN IP Address of Proxy Server

not sure what you mean by the manual way when you have then listed how to do it in Element Manager (Update the SIP Proxy(s) in the SipGW settings of the Node) these should be set to the Session Manager addresses and the CS1000 needs adding into the routing (SIP Entities) in the SMGR which will sync to the Session Managers.

There is a way to change the info in the bootp.tab/config.ini files on the signaling server, and nodexxx.btp/nodexxx.cfg files on the call server, but if you haven't done it before I would advise against it. Its too easy to bring the IP side of the system to its knees if you do something incorrectly.
