CS1000E cannot make commercial calls 1

Hello everyone,

Having an issue calling out to commercial 1-800 numbers and etc. Just wondering which LD's and screens I can look at in order to figure out and troubleshoot how to solve this issue. Thanks for your help

If its going out on PRI you can LD 96 and enable the DCH monitor and see what you are sending and why its not working.

in LD 96
. enl mon tty this enables the output to the terminal (You have to have user type MTC against the TTY you are using or you won't see the output)
. enl msgi x x = DCH you want to monitor incoming messages on
. enl msgo x x = DCH you want to monitor outgoing messages on

to disables same commands just dis instead of enl

on on you will see the messaging sent over the DCH and can look out for the CALLED number on the setup message you send to the carrier and if it fails you will get a disconnect and a cause code telling you why.

that's is of course if your not barred via BARS/NARS & the call is getting to the D channel

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

Then when you see nothing on the DCH monitor you know there is an issue with routing or barring, once you establish what the issue is we can make suggestions where you want to look.

Typically tool free NPA's are built as SPN's, I would start there. Ld 90
