CS1000E 5.5 PRI dropping audio

I have a customer with a PRI that has started dropping audio one-way on incoming calls. After about a minute, my cuatomer hears a pop and then it goes quiet...the remote end can hear them but they can't hear the remote end. Does this sound like a TMDI issue. Where is the best place to start troubleshooting this in the system?

I would check the history file in LD 22 using APST or PHST etc.

Look for any events that refers to DCH or PRI etc.

Also check that the system is clocking correctly and that the PRI is locked OK. Go into LD 60 and check it out.

I would then in some cases disable the DCH and PRI and reset the card and enable the circuit again.

Don't forget to also disable the TMDI before reseating that card.
 
are these proper pri's or are they running through a Voip gateway?

It is a PRI. My telco has disabled channel 1 which has taken care of the issue until I can schedule a downtime on this PRI circuit as this is a 911 center (non E911 PRI, but an admin trunk/live back for the E911 circuit) to replace the TMDI card.

if closing 1 channel has fixed it sounds like the hardware, make sure to FDL
