Hi,
Help,Help!! I am new at the Telecom Administrator position. Customer has a CS1000-Version 5 Nortel/Avaya VOIP system. He wants 3 digit dialing for all users, internally. There are about 70 users who have DID numbers. I have programmed all the DID users with the last 3 digits of the DID number for their DN. I want to make sure that the DID users can receive incoming calls from the world by the 7 digit number and internally can receive calls from the last 3 digits. What do I do with the CS1000 to esnure this dialing plan is successful?

Desperate,
Groundwork0

The easiest way is to have your telco outpulse the last 3 digits on your DID trunks, then in the customer data block (LD 15) you need to assign a 3-digit number to LD0 (this number does not need to be in your DID-range. The number of digits tells the system how long your DIDs are).

@ groundwork I told you that you would like this site.
