We have 27 CS1000 systems, all on release 4.0 or 4.5. I am interested in capturing trunk/system traffic from all of the systems. We have an old traffic collection system called Switchview. It is collecting traffic for one site. Our version is 5.4, which is rather old, and the server on which it runs is 10 to 15 years old.

To capture traffic from other sites with Switchview would require two things:
(1) installing buffer boxes at all sites
(2) programming the system to query the buffer boxes.

This presents two problems:
(1) no money to buy and install buffer boxes
(2) I cannot figure out how to program the present system to have it query the boxes

Does anyone know of alternative traffic collection/processing systems that are available? I'd like to do the downloading of data over the IP network if at all possible rather than by using buffer boxes, and (of course) I don't want to spend lots of $$$. We have a CDR system, but its data is way off compared to LD 2 stats, and it does not capture everything I need.
