Hi, we have a cs1000 tied into a IPOffice using NI2. We are able to call each other internally and I am able to leave a message on the IPO from the Nortel. (The CS1000 does not have a voicemail to test with yet.)
We are using the sip trunks on the IPO to dial out and we are able to dial out with the IPO sets, but we can not get out with the CS1000 sets.
I am sending the 91 over to the IPO but it is not hitting the ARS table, any ideas?

If you see the 91xxxxx going out on the DCH messaging from the CS1K then think you would need to put it in the IPO forum

We tried this once also and could never get it to work. The IPO is expecting a certain number of digits all the time, like 4, cant remember where that is programmed in the IPO. We could get 4 digit dialing to work also but then when you send the IPO more than 4 it doesn't handle the call properly.

I do believe the only supported method of doing this is to have the PRI configured as QSIG, according to Avaya Solutions

Easiest way I've found to do this is to build an incoming call route on the IPO for the line group the CS1K tie is a member of with no received digits and a destination being only a period (.)

Doing that, the IPO won't care about the number of digits received and will pass whatever comes in through the dialing plan (users, shortcodes, etc).

Thanks for the replies guys. I was able to get this working with qsig isgf, but the site we want to put this in does not have that package. So we are trying NI2. I will try it out Biv343! Thanks again.

Thanks guys, we got it working with Biv343's help! Now we just need to figure out how to implement this in a hotel environment. Unfortunately, we want to phase out the Nortel eventually. Thanks again
