Excuse me for asking a very newbie question.

We had a major power issue in our building that caused all equipment to do down. My Follower Signaling Server seems is the one running. I physically looked at both Signaling servers and they are both up but the Leader is not showing much activity on the link lights. I assuming that is because it did not come up before the Follower.

I'm assuming I can power both down and bring the Leader back up to have it running as the primary? If I power both down, will users lose phone service?

You can go to LD 117 and do:

ld 117
=>stat ss
This will tell you how the phones and trunks are balanced.

Do not restart them at the same time. If you have to reboot them individually. The Leader will eventually load balance the services.

You could get into the Sig servers and restart the applications
admin@sig-server-leader~]$ appstart restart
That will restart all services. If you want to select services you can:

admin@sig-server-leader~]$ appstart tp restart (or whatever service you want to restart)

HOpe this helps.
