Good Afternoon

Management is discussing replacing the Nortel CS1000 with Avaya.
However, we can not use our digital phones on the Avaya IP base system.
We have a special application with our Nortel digital phones that will not work on the Avaya IP
Is anyone familiar with the Nortel IP base system?

If so, any comments or concerns.

We have been able to interface the 3905 phone with the Motorola radios and we are able to access both using one headset.

You may want to look into the E-MetroTel UCX VoIP system as replacement for your CS 1000. The latest release 4.0 brings support for any mix of Nortel M1 / CS 1000 digital M3900 /M2000 series phones, as well as Nortel/Avaya 1100/1200/2000 series IP/SIP phones that you may have connected on your CS 1000. Plus the UCX supports wifi/SIP mobile phones, 3G/4G wireless phones, iphone, Android smartphones with mobile client. The engineers at E-MetroTel are ex-Nortel M1/CS100 designers so they likely can solve your issue.
