CS1000 M39XX Firmware Questions

Does anyone know what M39XX firmware comes standard on what system Rls? I have 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 5.0, & 7.0, but I don't know what firmware comes standard for the M39XX phones. What I am trying to do is locate at least F/W 8.9 for the M3903, then put the system together and push the firmware down to a bunch of phones. I have an ancient 24.5 loaded at the moment, but the firmware on that system is ancient as well. If anyone can lend some advice I would greatly appreciate it.

The following versions of up-issued firmware for the M3900 series of digital phones are now Generally Available:
• M3903 v8.8
• M3904 v9.0
• M3905 v9.0
This new firmware is applicable to the following CS software releases:
• X21 CS 1000 Release 3.0
• X21 CS 1000 Release 4.0
• X21 CS 1000 Release 4.5
• X21 CS 1000 Release 5.0 (not GA at the time of this bulletin)

Do you have access to the ESPL, Pep Library. I just looked and the 8.9 is still out there.

I'm running rls 5.5 and the firware is 89 for the 3904.

Thanks KCFLHRC, got it!

I will work with my onsite tech here in the warehouse this afternoon to download this to the system and then push out to the phone. Having not done this particular procedure before, it should be pretty straight forward right?

You need to go into PDT to update the firmware on the Call Server then push it out to the sets. I believe you can also do it in Element Manager.

Is there a specific LD that we need to be in to do it from the PDT?

If your not familiar with PDT then you really should not be in there. PDT is basically the root of the operating system, one missed keystroke can be disastrous.

Perfect. I was able to successfully load the 8.9 for the M3903's. Thanks! Would you happen to have 8.9 for the M3904, and 8.4 for the M3902?
