CS1000 High Temp Alarm Activation

Good Morning,

Does anyone know as what temperature is an alarm produced on the CS1000? I have a site that has gotten into the low 90 degrees for the last two days and the CS1000 hasn't produced an alarm. I'm looking at installing a Thermostat wired to a SEB device to notify the customer of the high temperature condition. However, I would like to know what the temperature activation point is on the PBX.

I could only find the following details below

Problem
System Manager on an IBM/Avaya S8800 reponding very slow and not able to web browse to system manager admin web page.

Applies to IBM/Avaya S8800 Servers running System Manager with RAID Batteries

Solution
Affected site was unable to browse to the admin web page, the page would not load at all preventing in any admin work being done from the Web browser/ dashboard. On closer investiagtion I found that the RAID battery needed replacing on the server.

To check the status of the existing battery run the following two commands which will need to be done from the command line at root level on the system platform DOM0, system domain

First command.
/opt/MegaRAID/MegaCli/MegaCli64 -LDInfo -Lall -a0 | more
Will show something like below:

I just found this information, but the temperature seems really high before it activates an alarm. 131 degrees F and I could fry an egg on the PBX....

PWR0006 Blower air probe temperature sensor alarm. This indicates one of the
following: 1. Blower air probe temperature sensor has reached 2. 55 degrees
C (131 degrees F).3. Blower unit has lost power. 4. Blower unit air probe
temperature sensor is faulty or disconnected.
Action: Check the blower unit, air filter, air ventilation and room air conditioning.
Severity: Critical. Critical to Monitor: Yes. SNMP trap: Yes

These systems were built for pretty low and high heat without issues. The real problem is if the room is continually changing with big temp swings.

I found the following in:

Ambient Temperature: Recommended: 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit)
Absolute 0-45 degrees Celsius (32-113 degrees Fahrenheit)
Relative Humidity (%) without condensation: Recommended: 20%-55% – Absolute: 10%-95%


We have a Temp prob that hangs from the ceiling and connects to our network. It alerts the Help Desk if there are any issues.
