Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could explain what the difference is in the PRT output for the DNB and TNB data blocks.
Looking at the 2 examples below, I can only see the following differences:
1) Device type (TNB - I2004; DNB - SL1) which I presume is a configuration error.
2) There is an extra "V" in the TN.

The output is taken from Version 2121, Release 4.
Appreciate any help here.

BR,

Simon

No real need to compare them, a DNB prints all the dn's on the switch this would include things without TN's like CDN/ACD/FFC/AC etc.

A TNB is used to see every thing on the switch that has a TN - Phones, Trunks, DTR's, etc. So really depends what you are looking for.

The "TYPE SL1" is just a holdover from the older software. Nothing to worry about. The actual type is in brackets below.
The "V" is for "virtual
