Hello!

I found reference that on a M1 with CPPII that when booting with a CDROM there's an option on the Tools menu to read the security dongle information (dongle engineering code, type, system serial, SDID). Is there a similar function on the CPPM (I'm running 7.5)? Are there any hidden functions on VXworks/PDT that can read the iButton directly or is the iButton connected through an ASIC and not directly to something like the processor SMbus?

If anyone has information on the iButton but doesn't want to share in public feel free to send me a PM.

Thanks,
Andrew

In LD 137, is SDID not enough?

The attached file might help you. I'm not sure what it all means, but I think it is safe to post.
