Hi Everyone,

We recently had our provider setup CDR on our CS1000 to connect to a new voice recording setup. However, we don't seem to be getting any CDR data through. The support for the voice recording have tried through their software and hyperterminal and get nothing.I've tried with my laptop connected to the cable our provider labelled at as the CDR port and got nothing through Putty or Hyperterminal.

I can't spot anything obvious wrong in the configuration but I'm more an Avaya (red) guy than a Nortel guy. I've put the config below, is there anything obviously wrong?

Cheers

The way I prove a TTY is functional: Set the ADAN TTY USER to SCH (Service Change) so I can actually hit return and see a response. Once you know the port is working, remove SCH, keep CTY, and connect it to the box that needs the CDR

If I were to guess, this is a DTE/DCE or wiring issue.

Thanks for the advice. I'll see if I can get to the site to have a look.

Keep in mind that TTY is programmed on an MGC card and will require a null modem adapter for DTE connection.
