Hello team,

I tried to integrate the SIP Trunk link between CS1K 7.6 and IPO 9.0 via NRS but it didn't work , the DCH never goes in active state
I ask question may be the CS1K require Session Manager to get this working with this versions matrix

Please does anyone alreay has the same issue ??

any suggestions ?

Thank you

The status of the DChannel from the Virtual Trunk is not from the connection
dependent on the IP Office.
Did you set up an ELAN link for Overlay 17?
If so, is it in secure yes or no mode?
This is often forgotten.

Elan Link has to be Nummer 32 upwards
Control its state in Overlay 48
Maybe Reboot of Signaling server necessary

Hi AvayaHE, thanks for the reply, no I didn't set the ELAN link, is not mentionned on the document
do you mean in the DCH configuration ?

You know where I can add this ELAN link ?

Thank you

Avaya will tell you that you need Session Manager and of course along with that you need System Manager

Back when we were on NRS (release 5) we also had Cisco and they just build a dial peer direct to the Node address of the CS1K they want to sen it to. We then jumped to 7.5 and System/Session Manager so would be fine for us. Often the problem with the NRS is it supports SIP URI for the CS1K inter-working which isn't always liked by other devices.
