Hi,

In my site's log file, I found some suspicious records, in which cs(Referer) is the same as the url of the page. I think it can only happen when a ... in a page pointes to the page itself. I know there is no such ... in my site.

Can you explain why?

Thank you in advance.

The referer field is optional in the HTTP request and can be changed or left blank by the useragent.

Some Internet security (IS) tools change the referer to hide the users tracks,

It is the same IPs or UA string for each occurence?

Chris.
