I have created a template on one of my company's machines to append the correct metadata into the IPTC info. I cannot seem to get it to work on the other machine.

Both are running XP with CS, and I have tried to recreate it on the second machine but it still does not come up. When I am on the first machine I can open the file browser and click on multiple images and append the metadata to all the files easily by going to EDIT/APPEND METADATA/COPYRIGHT 2005, of which "COPYRIGHT 2005" is the name of the .xmp file that i created.

One more question, how do I prevent CS from appending metadata to sidecar files when I am dealing with RAW images??

I have tried to check and uncheck the "Parse XMP" box in Preferences, to no avail. It neither solves my first or second question....

Thanx!!

Greg
