Crytsal XI and Access 2000 slow

I am usig the active x viewer in my access form ..the form has fields that build the query on click on the same on click (after the query side has been done) I pass the query thru the the viewer I get this

"The data necessary to complete this operation is not yet available "

It is almost like the query has not finished running..any suggestions?
