Crystl Reports Selection Formula and VB6

Hello
I am working on Seagete Crystal Reports 8.0 and trying to exec a report via VB 6.0 (yes, some of us are still working on that..)

I am getting this error message:
"Error in File D:\xxx.RPT:
Error in formula <Record_Selection>.
'
'
The remaining text does not appear to be part of the formula."

where the formula is fine: (if i put it directly in the report design it is fine)

{LIFE_STEP_ID} = 1 and {STRUCTURE_STATUS} = 1 AND {INT_DISTRICT_KEY} = 8


any sugestions?

Show the code you use for the record selection formula in VB.

Are you using the RDC?

Also check what is getting passed, you probably have some quotes out of place or some such. Nobody here will reqadily guess what you did wrong if you don't post what you did...
