Hi!!!!
I have Crystal Reports XI and Microsoft SQL 2005. When I open the report first time it takes about minute to load the data in page. For every new page the time is the same. Loading second time the same report take 2-3 seconds. Why the first open is so slow.
Thank you

Do you have "save data with report" checked?

The "save data with report" uncheckind does not play any role. The problem is in subreport.. Everything works good without it... Please help !!!!!

For performance considerations, you should avoid subreports if possible. On this particular report, why are you using a subreport? What is it that you cannot do with s standard report?

I don't actually know for what this subreport is used as report is not mine. I just need to find out the reason why report is so slow on the firt open.... Any ideas?

Where is the subreport placed? What report section? How is it linked to the main report?
