My app uses web services to show crystal reports. So far my company has been the only author of those crystal reports. I design the report acording to the client needs, and then publish it as a web service, using VS.NET. My client asp application uses those web services to view the report data.
Now, the client wants to be able to design the report and publish it by it self, without my company's services. He can design the report using Crystal Enterprise, but that program only allows to publish the report as a Crystal Web Service. Those Crystal web services can only have 5 simultaneous users accessing the repots, or else the cost will jump from free to €75.000 (this is a loooot, looking at the client company size).
So, they buy us a way of publishing the report as a web service, but not using VS.NET (they won't buy it either). My job, now is to make an app (web or win app) that makes that publishing.
Any ideias from you Crystal programmers?
