Crystal Web Server - Dates from VBScript to Web Report

Although I know Crystal say the VBScript DATE type is different to the Crystal Reports DATETIME data type, is there any way around this ??<br>

We are using Stored Procedures to SQL Server, and have START DATE and END DATE parameters. I need to pass a user date (from an ASP page) to the report, but of course you cannot use the cdate function !<br>

Any help would be most useful !!

I pass in a string '9/1/1999' then use CONVERT in SQL stored procedure to convert back to datetime.<br>

According to the docs, the Crystal Automation server requires all stored procedure parameters to be set as strings.<br>

Thank you all. I have taken the advice and just pass STRINGS to the stored procs !!
