Hi guys,

WIN 2k Adv Server
CR 9
CE 9

I have not looked into this yet at all, but I'm loaded with work, and was hoping there will be a quick answer to this question. When a report is run through CE on a client for the first time, it installs the Crystal viewer, which I think is an activeX control. I have a vendor needing to access a report from his location through his firewall. The IT people at his company will not allow him to pull the viewer control through. Is there a way to install the crystal viewer from disk? THanks !

Yes, there is paper on this on the BO knowledge base.
The paper is in relation to troubleshooting the Active X viewer install.

Hi,

Does your vendor absolutely have to use Active X?

If not, set him / her up with one of the zero client DHTML viewers.

Nuffsaid.
