Crystal V6.0 Bug in Sum ??

I am using Crystal V6.0 to report on a FoxPro dbf table. In the table I have a numeric value stored to 2 decimal places. In the report I have a Grand Total Sum of this value at the bottom of the report.

If I repeatedly refresh the data in Crystal I keep getting different values for the Grand Total Sum. Sometimes the sum is correct, and sometimes it is wrong although not always wrong by the same amount??

The figures on the report are formatted to be to 2 decimal places (and as I say the table only contains the figure to 2 decimal places anyway). The whole table contains 1100 records and I get these strange results when I report against all the data. If I report on less records (say 200 of the 1100) I cannot get the Sum to go wrong.

Is this a known bug with Crystal V6.0?

Are you right clicking on the database field and seleting insert, grand total? Or are you writing a summary formula using variables?

If you are doing the latter there is definately a bug amd this was addressed with a service pack. I would apply the service pack (if you can find it) and see if this helps. Better yet, upgrade. Crystal 6 is 8 years old at least.
