I've developed an Access (2000) database for our small business. I now want to expand the database out to our 4 salesmen and 1 logistics manager. Apparently, (I'm told) Access is not very effecient in a multi-user mode. I've heard that using Crystal Reports as the report writer/viewer will allow me expand out. ie. My employee can still access my database information through Crytal Reports. Can anyone help me with this?

felice: Crystal can be used to give an efficient reporting system against Access 2000. You will need to check you have the latest drivers (download from Crystal Decisions website) and I recommend you think about upgrading to the latest version 8.5 as this has a 'free' 5 user distribution system incorporated with the Devloper Edition David C. Hi there

If you have crystal reports version 7 or lower, you will need to download the Access 2000 drivers as David has said, Here is the link to the access 2000 drivers for crystal reports. It says it is for version 7 mr1 but is fine for all versions of crystal reports.

Hope this helps
