Within a report, I browse the field data for a "number" field. The field reflects "80" instead of "80,500". My Option settings for Fields - Number are Decimals 1, Rounding 1 with the Thousands Indicator checked, Leading 0 checked and Allow Field Clipping checked. Within the report, this "number" field is setup exactly the same way.
I should be getting "80,500".

When I run this report (or any of my reports) on another PC with the exact same settings, I receive "80,500".

I have used various data sources, the error continues.
I have removed the Seagate Progam and reloaded, the error continues.

This error is PC specific; however, it is only effecting Crystal Reports, not other applications. The error is how Crystal is reading the data. How do I fix???

Thanks!
Jan

I'd be tempted to look at your regional settings for Windows - it is possible to create this scenario playing with the number formats/decimal symbol/etc. The default number format in Crystal Reports is taken from the client default Windows settings, which would explain why it looks normal on most machines. I have checked my Regional Settings. All is well in the Regional Settings. The format is to have 2 decimal places and , between thousands.

I do not have this problem in Access, Impromptu, or any other applications. Only error is in Crystal.

What else could I try???

Thanks!!
Jan

Hi

I've this same problem: I created a report with Crystal Report Designer (V. 7.0) on an Oracle (V. 7) table, saved as .rpt, showing correctly my data, I then imported this .rpt into Crystal Report 7 ActiveX Designer (craxdrt.dll) and data where shown with zeros in the decimal part

Ciao
Marco
