I am trying to build a relatively complicated report in Crystal that needs to be exported to Excel. I have run into two constraints in Crystal that have stumped me.
This one report in Excel format, consists of 17 worksheets each of these reporting sales data for from left to right for all 52 weeks, 12 months and a year to date summary. The first complication, I have come upon is; a page width restriction in Crystal Reports that appears to limit the page width to that which will actually fit on a piece of paper. Is there any way to by pass this, as the actual width of this reporting needs to be about two feet?
Secondly, I can not find any way to write from Crystal to Excel separating different elements on different Excel worksheet tabs. This one report needs to display the same sales info summed under differnt parameters on 17 different Excel worksheets. The only option I have found is the manual process of copying one excel worksheet and pasting into a new tab in a workbook, but it seems that this should be possible.
Has anyone else run into either of these constraints?
Thanks-
