Hi,
Please explain what you want to do, as Crystal does use Functions or Procedures directly and there is no syntax to create them.

When replying, please indicate:
Crystal Version
Database used
Method of connection.

You create a parameter using the parameter tab on the Field Explorer, the icon that is a grid-like box. Once they are created, you can reference them along with other database fields and formula fields.
