I am a new user of Crystal. Why am I unable to get any data in a sub-report when I like another table to it? I don't get any errors.

I go into the subreport and click on Database, Visual Linking, Tables, Add Data File, then I select my file and link the index fields and click OK.
I've also tried Adding Database to Report and linking.

Sounds right. There may be a problem with the fields you are linking. I am pretty sure that his has nothing to do with it being a subreport.

Can you create a simpler version as a standalone report and see if this link brings back records? Ken Hamady
