Hi - new to Crystal...I just created a SQL report in Crystal SQL Designer off an ORACLE database that I connected to via ODBC.

When I went to use the query (which had run fine) in Crystal Reports (v8.5), the query shows up in the Data Explorer, but when I click to add to the report, nothing happens...any thoughts?

The Crystal SQL Designer isn't recommended, and hasn't been for quite some time (I never suggested it). In fact it is no longer supported in ver 10, so avoid it if you can.

As for your dilema, you should be using the
crystal supplied Oracle odbc rather than Oracles, and make sure that you turn on the procedure returns results option. Better yet, use the crystal native connectivity.

If possible, use a View or sp on the database as the datasource.
