hi,
Am using VB 6.0, Crystal 8.0.
When I use the crystal runtime dlls on an NT server my application works fine. But when I try the same thing on a Windows 2000 server, the oracle odbc stops working.
(I get a message saying that some oracle components are missing)

I removed all the crystal runtime dlls and reinstalled Visual Studio 6.0. This is the only way that I could get the Microsoft driver for Oracle to work again.

Are there any newer versions of crystal runtime dlls that need to be used for windows 2000?
Any other ideas as to why something like this may happen?

I have looked in the Seagate Support website and haven't found too much info regarding this issue

thanks
