I am trying to "recreate" a report that was orginally written years ago in Report Master. The report is used as a "table" for an access program that summarizes and creates a spreadsheet for a monthly income statement. The file(s) being used are HUGE - the general ledger posting detail and Crystal stops responding before all the records have been read and compiled for the report. I am using Mas 200 3.61 with Crystal Reports 8.5. Anyone have suggestions?

Why do you say the report has stopped responding? Just because you do a Ctrl-Alt-Del and the task manager says a task is not responding does mean it is not doing anything.

I suggest you run this report on the way outside the office for the evening, and see if it completes overnight. If it does, then lets start looking at your formulas, grouping and selection criteria and lets see if we can improve performance.
