I am trying to generate a report I have all the columns and all the details (they all come in at the same time) is there a way to pick and choose which detail lines that come in once they are already in the report.
The report is an income statement all the accts come over and I only need the income accts not the balance sheet accounts but I don't have a way when choicing the file to use.

Hi,
Use a Record Selection criteria that just gets the Income accounts.

Without any information on your table structure or fields
we cannot be more specific..

Try to post Version Number, Connection method, and some sample output whenever possible..

Thanks, that helped.
Next question, do you know how I can sort by misc. we have gl number and then sub dept numbers and they don't run in order.
Can I pick say #26 and add it #102.
I am using CR11 on a network.

Hi,
Please supply the info I requested, else I am only guessing.

Probably.

Try clarifying what "Can I pick say #26 and add it #102." means.

Aside from it not being proper English, it doesn't describe the data types nor where this "and add it #102" is to occur.

In general post:

It sounds like you want to Group (use Insert->Group) by the GL, and then another group by the Dept number.
