Hi guys

I'm having a problem building Crystal Reports on top of a BOXI R2 Universe.

I need the List of Values (LOV) for a particular object to appear in the query panel when creating the query to feed to the report. For example, if I want to create a filter on "Helpdesk Name", then I should be able to choose the helpdesk from the associated LOV.

Everything works perfectly when building a WEBI query: the LOV appears and the user can choose what they want. However on the Crystal side, the LOV simply doesn't display, even though you can see Crystal pause while the database runs a select distinct on the requisite field.

I have loaded SP1 on the BOXI server, and I have loaded SP2 on the CRXI client. I have tried writing a @prompt in the universe, and I have tried "hard coding" the LOV in the universe by using an Excel or text file as the data source for the LOV (personal data, instead of corporate data).

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

Thanks very much.

Found the solution, for those who are interested:

Clients were running Crystal Reports XI (original release) whilst server is running BOXI R2. Upgrading clients to CRXI R2 sorted out the problem: LOVs are visible in the query panel when creating Crystal reports.
