I have a report that runs fine when it does not have a subreport in the report. However, when I place a subreport in the report I get a "Missing prompting unit" message. The data is being retrieved from a db2 stored procedure and so far I see that there is a hot fix from Crystal for this issue -
However, the company is not installing the hot fixes, does anyone know of any work arounds to solve this issue?

Thanks,

Kevin

Sure, change companies to one with competent management.

If the manufacturer of a software product states a specific solution and your management won't follow it, then you're somewhat stuck I'd guess.

Depending upon the complexity of the SP, you might try conerting it to a View.

One alternative is to reduce the number of links in the subreport to less than 2. Perhaps you can use shared variables instead.
