Does Crystal Report 8.5 support Teradata. And how to connect Crystal Report & Teradata. What version of Teradata does Crystal Report supports.

Try contacting Teradata directly, which version may be dependent upon which version of Teradata. Their site doesn't really address reporting that I could easily find.

I see that there is an ODBC driver, so Crystal should work against it.

Thanks for the replies. I know that Crystal Reports 9 & 10 supports Teradata and ODBC is the only way to connect Crystal & Teradata. Will Crystal 8.5 support Teradata ?

Hi,
If an ODBC driver is available, Crystal ( regardless of version,IIRC) can report on its target.

Did you try?

I should connect just fine.

Connecting is one thing, understanding the data source and extracting what you want might be quite different.

ODBC is a standard in the industry, brought to you by Microsoft (though they didn't invent the tech).

It stands for Open Database Connectivity, and it's intent is to expose data to any application.
