Crystal Reports will not install

I am using a program that requires an updated crystal report module...but whenever I install Framework 2, the crystal report update is aborted.

What diagnostics can I use to determine what program(s) are blocking the update of the crystal report module? - hirshy

What version of Crystal? What OS? What does framework 2 have to do with it? Is this something that is run as a part of the crystal reports install or something you are doing separately?

Are you installing crystal reports? I am confused by the word "module", which makes me think you are not installing a full version of Crystal reports.

What version of Crystal?
Crystal Reports .NET Framework 2.0

What OS?
XP Professional

What does framework 2 have to do with it?
It is required for installation.
This is the error msg I get when I run the install:

I tried to run that file separate from the installer and it told me that Crystal Reports cannot complete the installation.

Something is stopping this installation. I hope you can help me find what it is! Thank you so much for your time on this. - Andy
