I need help creating my reports by pulling data from Goldmine. It's been about 2-3 years since I've worked in the Crystal Reports environment. I'm designing a report that will have a field for info needed between a date range. Can someone help me. Thanks!

First of all you have to create an ODBC connection to the GoldMine database. Are you using dBase or SQL.

Secondly you will need to create parameter for a start date and an end date that will allow you to enter these dates when you run the report.

Thanks for responding. I have an ODBC connection and I'm using SQL. Do I have to do a formula? or is there a simpler way. The reports I need to run will have data based on a date range. Each month I run it, I want to be asked to input the range. Am I on the right track?

Create a parameter field, make it a date range parameter. Then write a record selectio formula:

{YourDateField} in {?DateRangeParm}
