Crystal Reports vs ColdFusion

I am trying to help someone setup their colfusion site to properly display a report. They are using Crystal Reports 7, when they try using <CFREPORT> the report is displayed but all of the formatting of the report is gone. She found the Custom Tag CF_CR_ACTX and I was able to guess my way into making it run, however when it brings up the seagate activex viewer it asks for the username and password to connect to the database, and then will not accept the information. How can I help her before I pull my hair out?
