I am a complete newbie to Crystal Reports, and to make things worse, I'm also new to my job and my organization is new to using Crystal Reports, so forgive me if this is a stupid question or represents a complete misunderstanding.

I'm trying to export some reports to share with people in my organization who are not highly technical and won't have the full application or server access. What I did was run the reports on the server, select "save data with report", and select "disconnect view security", and save them to my local machine. When I tried to open them on the local machine with Crystal Reports Viewer, I get the following error:

"This report file is based on a business view and cannot be viewed. In order to view this report it must be set to a different datasource. Please open it in the CR designer application and use the 'set datasource location' operation."

Google and the CR knowledge base have failed me completely, and we are a small non-profit who can't afford Business Objects phone support. Can anyone help me, or provide directions to a resource that could?

Thanks!
