Crystal Reports VB Control reverts reports to version 7

I have used version Crystal Reports 8 for my reports and using the Crystal Control for VB can now display the reports within my application.

However, it seems to have reverted back to the way the Crystal version 7 asks the users for the parameter values. I have used the option of discrete and range values in all of the reports. Am I supposed to be using a different control for Version 8? or is there anything anybody can suggest to help me????

The OCX functionality supposedly has not changed since Version 6. It will not be enhanced in the future.

So, whether you're running V7 or V8, should not make a difference. The capabilities of the OCX should be the same. Brian J. Alves

Well I must be doing something wrong as the parameters are definitely those used ion version 7, whereas the report was written in version 8.
Am I using the wrong control? Should I be using a different control for version 8 reports??
Has anyone any ideas?? I have a deadline for Monday afternoon, so would appreciate any help whatsoever.
