I have several Crystal 8.5 reports that work fine on a crystal non-license machine and others that require a user logon/password.

The reports are stored in the same area. The data source is Macola 7.6.200GR with Pervasive SQL 2000I. The PC's are using Windows XP and windows client for Novell.

Why do these reports request the user logon/password?

What are you using to view the reports?

Is it possible that some of the reports were saved with data and hence can preview the report without access to the database?
