Crystal Reports - Recently Inherited Server

Hi Guys,

We have a crystal reports server sitting here and their has been a longstanding project of migrating the server to a new one.

We are using Crystal Reports XI but i cannot seem to find the raw .rpt files anywhere on the server.

Any ideas?

Things may be slightly different depending on your version, but if you go to the Central Management Console, then Servers you'll see the Input File Repository Server. Right click --> Properties and if you scroll down you should see the path to the File Store Directory.

However, if you're migrating to a new server it might not matter that much. Typically you would stage up the new server, then use the Import Wizard (or another tool depending on version) to import all the physical files and report instances to the new filestore location (along with users, groups, permissions, etc.).
