What's the difference between these two products?

I've got MS Visual Studio .NET.

We need to start getting serious about our reporting, which will include a lot of graphs and charts.

Just curious.

Crystal Decisions used to be the name of the company that produced Crystal Reports.

It has since been purchased by Business Objects.

There are basically 2 Crystal products worth considering:

Crystal Reports: Report designing product which comes in different versions

Crystal Enterprise: Web based viewing, scheduling, distribution and historical instance repository (amongst a few other things) for Crystal Reports.

Thank you.

We're trying to move our way up from VB6 to VB.NET "solutions" around here.

We generally just need reports and graphs, but for both web page and winform use.

We currently have CR 8.5.

Do you think that should do the trick for us for now?

We have Visual Studio Pro.

We need professional reports internally, but would like to have some generated via the web by management & customers.

Graphs are also becoming very important around here, charting everything from prices to data that is related to production machinery.

These need to be viewed on screen either inhouse (winforms) or via our internet gateway (webforms).

They need to be easily printed, too.
