Will Crystal Reports 7.0 run on Windows 2000 Pro? Can I install CR 7.1 and 8.5 on the same computer? in Windows 2000?
I know that 8.5 will work on Win2K, but do not know about CR 7.1. I need to support and use both versions, and do not want to put them on separate computers.
Thanks, Laura Velez, MCP

I have used both 7.0 and 8.0 both on Win2K. Seagate will tell you that there might be conflicts but I haven't noticed them. Ken Hamady

Ken, Thank you for your response. Did you have 7.0 and 8.0 running on the same computer? Laura Velez, MCP

Yes, Actually Versions 4.5, 5,6,7 and 8. All simultaneously.

The oldest ones sometimes complained. But never 7 or 8. I think 8 changed some export drivers but everything worked. Ken Hamady

Thank you for the info, Ken. Did you install them in the order of oldest to newest (in my case, 7.0 and then 8.5)? Laura Velez, MCP

Always. That makes sure that you get the newest copies of all support DLL files. Ken Hamady
