Crystal Reports on Citrix

SETUP: Application installed on MF 1.8 for Windows TS 4.0 with SP6. Said application has Crystal Reports v7.0 embedded within it.

SYMPTOM: The majority of the "canned" reports in the application run. 2 Reports do not. All of these reports have PARAMETERS. The reports that DO work prompt for the parameters and retrieve data. The reports that DO NO work don't even prompt for the parameters.

STEPS TAKEN: 1.Copied CRYSTAL dlls from WTSRV\CRYSTAL to WTSRV\SYSTEM32. 2. Tried VARIOUS NT Security settings on WTSRV, SYSTEM32 and CRYSTAL folders. 3. Tried logging into SERVER as ADMIN

Please help me with this!!!!!!

Do you have CR 7 installed so that you can look at the reports and identify what is different about them? Ken Hamady

We have 3 servers for this application. On ONE of the servers we have Crystal Rep. Designer version 7 installed. The other 2 do not. The 2 reports that do not run have several things in common with none another however, these common threads also exist in SOME of the other reports which DO run.

I start a vacation tomorrow, so I won't be able to follow this further.

I would see if you can run them from the standalone. If so, then the report isn't the problem, but the environment is. CR has tools to check and see which dlls are being used at any point. This may help. Good Luck. Ken Hamady
