We are wanting to use a newer version of Crystal Reports to modify and print existing reports. We have version 6, 8, 9, and 10 but cannot find version 7. We are seeing that some are saying that we are limited to using version 7 and others are saying that we can use up to version 9. If we use version 9 to save a current report and when ran in ACCPAC it states that it is unable to load the report.

We are using ACCPAC Advantage series version 5.2A for all modules except Bank Services which is version 5.2B.

MSSQL is also the database we are using.

Can anybody clear up which version should we use and how to set it up correctly so that all users are not affected by this change. We want to have one person create new, modify existing and have the report distributed to the user for use.

Is there also a specific version that should be used so that we don't run into to anyother unforseen problems?

Use 8.5. Starting with version 5.4 (which isn't released yet), you'll be using Crystal 11.
