I have a report that groups by the first letter of the customer last name. Ideally, I would like to have 26 groups (A - Z). I use have a count and sum for each group. However, if I don't have any customers with a last name that starts with the letter "Q" (for example), then I only get 25 groups. I need 26 groups because of reporting needs. I need to show the 0 count and 0 amount for that group that technically doesn't exist. Does anyone know of a way to make this happen? On a monthly basis, the missing groups change...sometimes I might be missing Q, X and Y. Other months I'm missing I and Z.

Thanks,

Trey

One way is to use a table that you know will have all the letters and and make it the main table, then left outer join your monthly data. You might even create a letter table just for this report.
