Crystal Reports Group Header Question

I am having difficulty getting all the information I need to display in a group header. My situation is as follows: In my detail section of my report I have a count of Major_ID, which I summed throughout the report using the summation button. My report is also grouped by major name. What i want to display in my header title, as a custome header, is the major name and the count of Major_ID. I can get the name to display, however I cannot get the Count to display. I tried creating a formula for the group header, but when i try to insert the Count into the formula, crystal gives me an error stating the formula requires a calculation to be performed later. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get the count to display in my group header or, also, any reason why I am receiving this error when I create the formula.

Right click on {table.Major_ID} in the detail section->insert summary->count-> check "insert summary for all groups". This will insert the count in the group footer. Drag the count from the group footer and place it in the group header.

If you were using a formula (not necessary in this instance), it would look like:

count({table.Major_ID},{table.Major_Name})

To expand on lbass's reply, if you use summary totals, they are taken directly from the data and can be shown in the header. Other sorts of total are accumulated from the detail lines as they are printed. That's what the error message is telling you.
