Crystal Reports functioning within an encrypted database enviroment

Has anybody had experience of having CR working within an encrypted MS SQL Server 2000 ? Any ideas as to the process required for CR to deal with the task of decrypting the data to be displayed within the report ? Is it indeed possible for CR to function in such an environment.

Any ideas or advice will be gratefully recieved.
