I need to be able to produce Crystal Reports on the intranet. What options are available to me? I do not have the Server edition, I have Crystal Reports 10 Professional. Thanks in advance...

Option 1:
Create a front-end desktop app (with necessary dlls) to run the reports from a shared repository?

Option 2:
Create a client/server app where your server app actually executes the report and exports it to html for the client to then view.

Can I use the Crystal Reports viewer in a static html file or does it have to be in an ASP or ASP.NET environment. They don't allow IIS here.

Hi,
I believe you will need the Developer edition of CR to have the objects needed to build a crystal report into a VB app..

Visual Studio does include run-time CR support and that can be added to a VB(or other) project..( Check out the licensing issues that may be involved, however, before distributing)

What web server are you using?
